Onyx Launches "Am I Alone" Music Video

On September 23rd, 2008, Onyx Tri Cities & Ridge Meadows Program Manager and RM CAT chairperson, Camila J. presented the world premiere showing of the video at the Provincial Forum - Stopping the Sexual Exploitation of Children, Youth and Women, held in Prince George, BC. One year ago, the Onyx Program launched its predecessor, "On The Track". Because of the overwhelming response from communities around the province, the RM CAT was eager to contribute to the awareness campaign.

All of the images featured in the video were taken by youth specifically for this project. Feedback about the video was tremendous and all 100 DVDs were snapped up eagerly. This free distribution material was written and performed by youth, for youth. Thanks to Young Ice, Nusince and Shy and especially Spencer C. who once again produced the material. The DVD includes the "On The Track" video, as well as a slideshow of the Onyx Photography Project which was featured as the Safer Space Youth Forum.
